Must have 3 - 5 years of experience working as a Building Inspector,
Must be certified through ICC,
Proven knowledge of Federal, State, and local laws, codes and ordinances relating to building construction, including State Energy and Accessibility regulations.
Understanding of the accepted safety standards, testing procedures and methods of construction.
Principles and techniques of building inspection work.
Basic understanding of the plan checking process.
Must be able to kneel, crouch, and climb tall ladders;
Must have a valid California State driver's license.
