At least one certification in Access Control Systems.

Electronics certification from an accredited technical school, equivalent military training, or comparable technical background.

10 years of experience in the fire / security industry managing a portfolio of projects.

Relevant hands-on experience in system design and commissioning of fire / security systems.

Certification or classroom training and experience with fiber and networks.

Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft programs and databases.

Ability to act independently and coordinate the work of others on a job site.

Knowledge of project accounting, costing principles, and contracting.

Knowledge of Access Control Systems (preferred)

Experience managing costs, billings, collections, and monthly revenue and margin forecasts for project portfolios.

Experience coaching or mentoring fire / security technicians and systems designers on the job.

Experience delivering site-specific training and preparing project manuals or closeout packages.

Starting pay ranges from $20-$35 based on experience

Monthly Incentive program of up to 10% of your annual pay!

Wages are based on skill level and experience.

Technicians are able to earn more money based on individual drive and willingness to learn new tasks.

Must be able to obtain specified licenses/certifications to perform work in the security industry according to the rules and regulations prescribed by the State in which the branch operates.

High School Graduate or GED is required for all Per Mar Security Services positions.

Must be able to travel, as needed.

Must have mathematical skills including ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume along with ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Must have knowledge of fire and electrical codes to ensure safe and proper installation of alarm systems and devices.
