Candidates should be able to safely perform physical tasks associated with machining and fabrication work.

Preferred experience includes: * Operating and setting up manual mills, lathes, and CNC milling machines * Experience with ProtoTRAK and other conversational CNC controls * Reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions * Selecting proper tooling, materials, workholding, machining speeds, and feeds * Machining a variety of materials while maintaining tight tolerances * Using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges * Troubleshooting machining issues and implementing effective solutions * Performing machine setups and making tooling or program adjustments as required * Working independently while managing a variety of machining and fabrication projects * Supporting custom fabrication, tooling modifications, and equipment repair initiatives

Associate degree or technical/trade school training in machining, manufacturing technology, or a related field

Industry certifications related to machining or manufacturing

Prior machining or machine shop experience
