Registered Nurse
Graduate of an accredited associate or diploma nursing program, as recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
One year of RN experience in an ICU setting is required for consideration for RN positions within the Intensive Care Unit at Mayo Clinic.
Will consider internal candidates without ICU experience who have completed the Mayo Clinic's Advanced Complex Care Program or the High Acuity Fellowship
Maintains both Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
Maintains annual ECG competency.
Computer skills required
Ability to work flexible hours, which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends and on-call.
Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) competency and ACLS required upon hire date and does not expire within 90 days of hire date.
Additional specialty certification/training as required by the work area.
