High school diploma or GED required
Trade schooling or related industry experience required.
Minimum 4 years of similar or related work experience; relevant experience in aviation, automotive, marine, electronics, or low-voltage electric repair will be considered.
Experience leading or managing people, shop workflow, and team motivation.
Must own a set of basic hand tools.
Moderate level of experience and proficiency with general electrical and/or circuit board-level soldering.
Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
Ability to read and thoroughly understand technical drawings, blueprints, manuals, and instructions
Experience with Microsoft Office
Valid driver's license.
Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screening and a basic background check (safety-sensitive position, subject to the FAA DOT Drug Abatement Program).
Must be a US person (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals) to be eligible for this role.
Ability to perform consistent work on a computer with prolonged view of a monitor/screen.
Specific Vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Must be able to see, talk, hear, touch, feel and reach with hands and arms.
Must be able to frequently walk and stand for short periods of time.
Must be able to lift and move up to 25lbs
Willingness and ability to travel occasionally as needed.
