Follow batch tickets and formulas to accurately measure and blend pigments, base materials, and additives to produce various paint colors and finishes.
Operate blending equipment, including mixers, dispersers, and tinting machines, ensuring proper settings and calibration for consistent color results.
Conduct color tests and adjustments to achieve desired color accuracy and consistency, using color-matching tools and software as needed.
Collaborate with the Quality Control team to perform regular checks and inspections on blended colors, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized blending area, including proper storage and labeling of raw materials, cleaning of equipment, and disposal of waste materials.
Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and inform the Supervisor of any shortages or discrepancies.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving blending-related issues, such as color variations or equipment malfunctions.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself, colleagues, and visitors.
Continuously stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices related to color blending and paint manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with paint manufacturing processes, including blending, dispersion, and quality control
