If requested due to business need, Transportation Associates must obtain their Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and Driver Qualification File (DQF) and utilize it as a condition of the role, paid for by Amazon.
Candidate must hold a valid driver's license for the state in which they reside and be eligible to drive in accordance with DOT requirements.
For Department of Labor/Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration roles (roles for which you receive a CDL), English proficiency is required per federal regulation.
The timing of this requirement is dependent on business need.
Continuing in the position with CDL and DQF certification is contingent upon the successful completion of a DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening, a DOT physical and Amazon's pre-employment drug test.
