Nurse Practitioner

PA/NP

Active, unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license in good standing

Ability to provide holistic, evidence‑based care including counseling related to pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, and safer sex practices

Ability to order/administer vaccines and injections (COVID‑19, influenza, TB testing, Depo‑Provera, etc.)

Bilingual proficiency may be required depending on market needs

Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Ability to pass a respirator FIT test

Physical presence at assigned clinic required

Ability to perform duties involving prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching

Weekly Hours: 36.00

Clinic hours are Mon - Fri 7:30am - 5:00pm and Sat from 9:00am - 12:00pm.

Enjoy one day off each week with no nights, holidays and an occasional Saturday morning to support the walk in clinic.

LPN or Certified Medical Assistant

The LPN is a graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

If position requires IV therapy/management skills, the following is required in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.

Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.

The Certified Medical Assistant must be a graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant program.

Nationally certified or registered as a Medical Assistant (MA).

Certification (CMA) obtained through a nationally approved certification program for medical assistant, including but not limited to: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National HealthCareer Association (NHA), Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) through the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA), or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) through the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), etc. Registration (RMA) obtained through the American Medical Technologists (AMT) also acceptable.

Additionally, must also be registered on the ND Board of Nursing UAP Registry if they do not possess MAIII registration at time of hire.

MAs working within Minnesota (MN), Iowa (IA), South Dakota (SD) and Oregon (OR) do not require state registration.

An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment.

Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

If the incumbent does not already hold their registration as an MAIII through the ND Board of Nursing at time of hire they will be granted 4 months to obtain registration.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment.
