Must be able to pass an eye exam and certifications such as confined spaced entry, respirator, lock out- tag out, cryogenic safety, process safety management, etc.
Must be willing to work all shifts and weekends.
Must be able to obtain and maintain NASA Personnel Reliability Program (PRP) security clearance.
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/associate's degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Knowledge of mechanical systems, various measuring and testing devices, and experience with hand tools are essential.
Understand and interpret required engineering drawings, instructions, and technical manuals.
Knowledge of mechanical equipment such as high-pressure pneumatic, cryogenic and hydraulic systems, NDT equipment, etc.
Work may require the ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift, crane, hoist, man lift, etc.) in a safe manner.
