Ability to travel domestically and internationally for supplier, machine, installation and concept evaluations. Estimated annual travel is 30% to 40%, with most trips contained within one week and occasional weekend travel.
Ability to work hands-on with manufacturing equipment during development, installation, troubleshooting and qualification activities.
Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds repeatedly to a height of 3 to 4 feet, with occasional lifting up to 35 pounds.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or tenure of 10+
years in engineering title job field with associate degree in Manufacturing,
Industrial, Mechanical, or Automation technical areas.
Three or more years of progressive manufacturing, mechanical, equipment or process engineering experience, including ownership of complex equipment or process-development projects.
Demonstrated experience designing, specifying, analyzing, commissioning or troubleshooting industrial mechanical and fluid systems.
Working knowledge of electrical controls and PLC-based automation, including the ability to interpret schematics, troubleshoot I/O and sequences, and support minor controlled program changes.
Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD or equivalent design software and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
