High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 5 years of shipboard pipefitting experience
Proficient in reading blueprints and fabricating from sketches.
Skilled with tools such as pipe benders, threaders, saws, grinders, and drill presses.
Must have all required safety training, including Firewatch certification.
Ability to enter confined spaces and perform work in physically demanding environments.
Candidates must possess a basic pipefitting tool set, including but not limited to:
Assorted screwdrivers and pliers
Tip cleaners and markers
Tubing cutters, channel locks, combination wrenches
Pipe wrenches (14" and 18"), crescent wrenches (mini and standard)
Socket set up to 1¼"
Hammer, center punch, file, pry bar, and striker
