3 years' shipyard experience.
Must also pass copper nickel test.
Need to have copper nickel experience.
Must pass Alum, CuNi, Stainless, or TIG weld test.
Must have at least 4 years of pipe welding experience.
Proven knowledge of welding techniques such as SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW.
Must have experience with P-3 joint with permanent backing rings, and P-14 socket weld joints.
Must be able to interpret technical drawings, ship repair terminology, and Navy/MSC/ABS standards.
Must be proficient in reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications.
Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs occasionally and up to 20 lbs frequently.
Must be physically capable of working in confined spaces and at heights above 12 feet.
