One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level for GL-9 and GS-11 positions
One year of specialized work experience for GL-7 grade level

One year of general work experience that demonstrates the ability to take charge, make sound decisions, and maintain composure in stressful situations
Combination of general work experience AND successfully completed college education

Must attend a 101-day training program at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) located in Glynco, GA
