High school diploma or GED equivalent
1-3 years relevant work experience
Able to read prints and shop manuals
Prior experience with hand and air tools
Requires knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic assemblies and testing
Read and interpret micro, PLC and relay schematics
As assigned perform set-up from blueprints and wire high or low voltage boxes from the wiring schematic
Performs on-line testing and inspection activities
May be required to operate forklifts
Complies with all requirements of Quality System in accordance with ISO9001
Ensure compliance in all safety, health, and environmental regulations, policies and procedures for a goal of zero incidents and injuries
Able to lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds
Need to have the ability to ascend and descent a ladder and/or scaffolding
Finger dexterity is required, as well as hand strength, with the ability to grasp, lift, push and pull
Work involves considerable climbing, twisting, bending, squatting and kneeling for long periods of time
This is a production classification and employees work indoors and outdoors (in all seasons) with exposure to noise, chemicals, heavy equipment and machinery
Education/Experience: Electrical Assembly experience preferred.
