High School diploma and/or equivalent.

Four years of welding experience; or, Completion of an accredited four-year welder's training program; or, Completion of an accredited two-year welder's training program and two years of welding experience; or, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Skill in the fabrication, joining and repair of a variety of metal objects, equipment, fixtures and structures.

Knowledge of applicable codes.

Knowledge of welding techniques (oxygen-acetylene, electric arc, MIG, TIG, controlled atmosphere, and plasma cutting), tools and equipment.

Knowledge of non-destructive inspection techniques.

Skill in heat treating and thermal spraying.

Monday through Thursday: 12-hour shifts

Friday: 10-hour shift

Saturday: 8-hour shift

Rotating first and second shifts approximately every month

4 years of combined welding education through a high school, trade school, technical program, apprenticeship, military service, and/or similar hands-on training required.

Ability to demonstrate applicable welding skills during the selection process.

Ability to recognize and correct weld defects such as porosity, pinholes, cracks, and incomplete tie-ins.

Ability to read and follow work instructions and inspection documents.

Candidates must be flexible and able to work rotating shifts, extended hours, weekends, and required overtime.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment physical, background check, and drug screening.

2-3 years of practical MIG and/or stick welding experience strongly preferred.

Experience with weld overlay, repair welding, gouging, torch cutting, crack repair, or heavy industrial welding is preferred.

Work Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday

High school diploma or GED required.

Proven professional production welding experience, specifically utilizing MIG and TIG processes.

Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols (e.g., AWS standard symbols) to achieve precise fit-up and weld dimensions.

Ability to safely lift and manipulate materials and stand for extended periods, as required by the production environment.

Successful completion of a formal vocational/technical welding program or apprenticeship is strongly preferred.

Welding certification preferred

The ability and willingness to obtain certification upon hire.

Proven experience in industrial painting and abrasive blasting, preferably in oil & gas, marine, or heavy industrial environments.

Knowledge of surface preparation standards (e.g., SSPC/NACE) and coating application techniques.

Ability to operate and troubleshoot blasting and painting equipment.

Physical stamina to work in demanding environments, including heights, confined spaces, and varying weather conditions.

Safety-first mindset with a track record of following OSHA and industry safety guidelines.

Certifications such as SSPC C7/C12, NACE, or equivalent (preferred but not required).

$31 - $35/hour based on experience (PLUS SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL OF $2.50/HOUR)

Must have knowledge of the use of both acetylene and electrical welding equipment, welding standards and trade procedures, processes, and techniques.

Must successfully pass all weld test.

Must be able to read blueprints and other engineering drawings to perform efficiently.

Must be able to read and interrupt technical manuals as applicable.

Formal training in area of specialty.

Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.

Requires 5-10 years of related experience.

Must have the ability to use hand and power tools and related types of equipment peculiar to the trade.
