Successful candidate must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of mechanic issues across a broad range of subjects by attaining a satisfactory score on the NOCTI Mechanical exam, i.e. - Bearings, how they are used, installed and lubrication, brakes and clutches, pump maintenance, couplings and motors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, braking systems, blueprint reading, welding and use of the acetylene cutting torch.
The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, talk, and hear.
The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Employee must be able to adapt to both hot and cold temperatures within the plant.
