High School diploma or GED
At least three years of experience drafting/illustrating in the electronics field, including:
Use of computerized drafting applications,
Digital imaging techniques,
Proficient use of AutoCAD, and
Planning and preparing graphic presentations of complex items,
With experience supporting DoD processes and procedures
At least three years of relevant technical field experience using SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD in support of electronics-related drafting and modeling
Experience modeling and drafting various components and systems from conceptual ("blank sheet") inputs, turning high-level design intent into complete, production-ready drawings
Knowledge of DoD and industry drawing standards and procedures, including MIL-DTL-31000 and applicable ASME drawing standards (e.g., ASME Y14 series)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for drawing lists, revision logs, and supporting documentation
Ability to produce and update 2D technical drawings and graphic presentations for electrical/electronic components, assemblies, wiring/cable layouts, and system-level layouts
Experience supporting configuration management and revision control (drawing revisions, logs, coordination with CM/data managers)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to clearly document and present drawing changes for internal and government review
