Part Time - Monday-Friday, 9a-3p

Must be 21 years of age per DCFS guidelines.

Holds a high school diploma or its recognized equivalent (GED).

Valid driver's License

* Has met one of the following requirements: * Holds an associate degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution of higher education. * Completed at least 60 semester hours of credit from a regionally accredited institution of higher education (excluding remedial coursework). * Scored 460 or higher on the ParaPro Test and has an official report from the Educational Testing Service * Present evidence of earning the following scores on the Work Keys test: Reading for Information: 4, Writing/Business Writing: 3, and Applied Mathematics: 4.

Heavy Work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

The expected base pay range for this position is: Illinois $31.00 - $34.50

For a minimum of 20 hours per week

Operating hours are subject to change and will likely scale up during periods of peak customer demand.

Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.

Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds

Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.

Familiarity with Circular 230

Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform

Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment

Proficient with technology, including tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.

Must reside within the United States.

Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law preferred.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus

Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing
