Requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 3 to 5 years of related experience; or a combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in one or more of the following: machinist, millwright, welder, or pipe fitter.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram or schedule form.
