Sr CNC Machinist
Minimum of 4 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment required.
Advanced understanding of CNC machining principles, setup practices, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
Ability to independently set up and operate multi-axis CNC machines.
Experience with live tooling and/or sub-spindle equipment.
Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T.;
Ability to select and use appropriate precision inspection and measurement methods.
Strong shop math and measurement skills.
Knowledge of feeds, speeds, surface finish requirements, tooling, and material properties.
Ability to troubleshoot programming, tooling, setup, and process-related issues.
Ability to make CNC program edits and adjustments appropriate to experience level.
Ability to consistently produce complex parts to close tolerances and quality requirements.
Ability to provide technical guidance and support to less experienced machinists.
Continual standing.
Frequent mental and visual attention.
Frequent bending, twisting, and grasping of tools and materials.
Occasional lifting and moving of materials up to 50 lbs. (15-40%).
