High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to use precision measuring tools such as gauges, swing gauges, calipers, and micrometers
3 years of experience operating CNC multi-axis Milling machine preferred
Ability to read and interpret CNC Programs at the machine
Ability to load part onto a fixture
Must be willing to run multiple machines simultaneously where possible/feasible as most machines are part of manufacturing cells/machining centers
Ability to read English and interpret symbols on operation sheets
Familiarity with operation of Right-Angle Heads
Must possess the ability to work within tight tolerances such as thousandths
Ability to use Fanuc controls and make offsets as required by the program
Experience working with hard metals such as Inconel, Titanium and Stainless Steel
Must be able to read and interpret operation sheets in English
Must have Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing knowledge
Experience setting up and changing over jobs on CNC equipment
Ability to load parts and fixtures onto hoists and operate hoist to load part onto machine
Ability to run 3, 4 and 5 axis milling and/or turning machines
Must be proficient in mathematics and be able to use a calculator
5+ years of experience in an aerospace or high precision manufacturing environment preferred
Must be able to read tool sheets and set up tools for use on a job or part
