2nd Shift

Knowledge of SolidWorks 3D modeling software.

Must be an experienced, skilled machinist.

Able to take a job from print to finished part.

Knowledge of various types of CNC Lathes including 3 and 4 axis machines.

Good computer skills including excel, outlook and word.

Understand M & G codes and how they are used to command the machine.

Able to use CAM software to program CNC machines.

Ability to interpret drawings, blueprints, and written / verbal instructions with limited supervision to setup and operate CNC equipment.

Ability to verify parts using quality measuring devices.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Stand for long periods of time.

Able to lean and reach.

Able to run manual equipment.

Basic computer skills including Word, Outlook, and Excel

Knowledge of SolidCAM a plus.

Pay Range: $26.00-34.00/hour + shift differential

2nd Shift

5+ years of related experience involving set-up and operation of precision CNC Turning Centers in an effective, efficient, safe and consistent manner

High School/(GED) Diploma or Vocational/Technical school equivalent

Possess math skills required to effectively and efficiently read, interpret documents (i.e., blueprints/technical drawings, operation/tool/set-up sheets, procedures, ECN's, routers, etc.).

Knowledgeable in GT&D; practices, inspection methods, effective utilization of measuring equipment/instruments, root cause investigations, troubleshooting, and performance metrics.

Must be a US Citizen

The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, and to use hands to finger, handle or feel

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The employee is regularly required to stand at length (7-8 hours, daily), sit, walk, stoop, bend, turn, balance, and/or crouch, and move about the facility.

Hours for this position are 5:45am - 2:15pm Monday - Friday with overtime available

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar position preferred plus training in CNC Programming

High School Diploma or equivalent or equivalent work experience

CNC certification or CNC Trade School, a major plus

General understanding of blueprint reading and geometric tolerancing, a plus.

5+ years of CNC Lathe operation.

Thorough knowledge and understanding of engineering drawings, documents, and GD&T.;

Proficient with basic shop tools and machines.

Experience cutting a wide range of metals typically difficult to machine.

Experience programming and operating DMG-MORI machines.

Thoroughknowledge of the use of measurement and inspection tools such ascalipers, micrometers, gauge pins, bore gauges, optical comparators,etc.

Experience programming with Hypermill and Mastercam.

Experience with ProShop ERP or any ERP Softwares.
