Successful completion of all pre-employment and post offer assessments to include the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory -2 (MMPI-2-RF-PCIR); the California Psychological Inventory (CPI); the Police and Public Safety Selection Report (PPSSR); the Personal Experience Inventory (PEI) and a clinical interview by a third personal psychologist

Will be required to take random drug test screening

Valid Driver's license required

Candidates must maintain an acceptable driving record to meet CHRISTUS Health standards for positions requiring driving. An unacceptable record includes, but is not limited to:

Must be physically fit and able to walk all areas of the facilities and grounds, to restrain those who need restraint and be able to assist nursing staff with lifting patients of all sizes.

Must have flexibility in hours

For Texas positions: * Must hold an active Level 3 Commission with the Texas Department of Public Safety Private Security Bureau (TDPSPSB). * New hires who have completed the TDPSPSB security commission course must obtain their commission prior to hire. * If the license status is ACTIVE in TOPS and the pocket card has not yet been received, the licensee may begin working. * Until the pocket card is received, the licensee must carry proof of ACTIVE status (e.g., screenshot or printed copy from TOPS) while on duty.

Minimum two (2) years of armed security experience (may substituted by Honorable Military Service) preferred

Law enforcement experience preferred

Healthcare security experience preferred

Verbal De-escalation training must be completed within 60 days of hire

BLS required within 60 days of hire

Expandable Baton training, defensive tactics training, firearms training, weapon qualification, and firearms retention training must be completed prior to letter of authorization to carry is issued

For New Mexico positions: * Officers may not carry a weapon on duty until completing 40 hours of training and receiving a letter of authorization from the CHRISTUS Vice President of Security to carry a CHRISTUS Health-assigned weapon.

For Louisiana positions: * Officers may not carry a weapon on duty until completing 40 hours of training and receiving a letter of authorization from the CHRISTUS Vice President of Security to carry a CHRISTUS Health-assigned weapon.

Scheduled Monday through Friday only; 5:30-8:30AM, 10:30-1:30PM, and 3:30-6:30PM.

No weekends, no federal holidays.

Projected support schedule: 3:15-6:30PM.

Current lifeguard certification from American Red Cross, StarGuard ELITE, or Ellis & Associates

CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, and Standard First Aid

Swim test: 300-yard swim, 2-minute tread, and a 10-lb brick retrieval from 7 ft in under 1:40

Must pass a background check for base access.

18+ years old minimum

Current Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Certification or Lifeguard Instructor Trainer Certification (LGI/LGIT)

Supervisory experience preferred.

A Certified Pool Operator (CPO) credential is a strong plus.

5+ years of automotive technician experience performing diagnosis and repair across multiple vehicle systems, with demonstrated ability to handle complex repairs independently.

Advanced diagnostic capability using scan tools, meters, and service information, with the ability to create and follow a structured test plan.

ASE certifications appropriate to assigned work, or equivalent demonstrated competency, with commitment to ongoing training.

Valid driver's license

Successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Records check.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed.

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Ability to stand up to eight hours per day and walk to access various areas of the building.

Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch regularly, with full range of motion in arms and hands.

Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and refocus; use of safety goggles or other PPE as required.

State Inspector License, in applicable locations, or ability to obtain and maintain as required by the store.

ASE Master Technician certification or multiple ASE A-series certifications.

L1 Advanced Engine Performance Specialist certification.

Experience with advanced drivability diagnosis, electrical diagnosis, and interpreting scan data, including freeze frame and live data.

Experience performing quality checks, comeback support, dispatch support, or other advanced repair services.

Leadership or mentoring experience with the ability to coach others on standard work and diagnostic best practices.

High school diploma, equivalent, technical school, or vocational training.
