Must have experience in hydraulics, hoses, fittings, welding and schematics
High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Three (3) years practical experience in the assembly of heavy machinery / equipment or other related disciplines as evidenced by employment history, training, certification, personal interview and/or practical tests as required
SKILLS - ability to perform specific technical tasks using normal tools used in equipment assembly such as the layout / termination / connection of wiring and plumbing, lay-out and installation of mechanical equipment and performing operational testing (and repair modification if required) of completed assemblies
In addition, the ability to work in a flexible environment while interacting with other disciplines (engineering, fabrication, stores, etc) and adapting to changing work priorities are essential
KNOWLEDGE - the ability to read, interpret and follow drawings / blueprints is essential
Must be able to perform calculations and solve practical problems related to the assembly of heavy equipment
