Valid OSHA Forklift certification
Must wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
Steel-toed boots
Hard hats with chin strap; chin strap must be worn at all times while in the warehouse
Protective eyewear
Hand protection
Arm guards/sleeves
Visual Acuity requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Hearing protection if required by the hearing conservation program
Two-year technical degree and/or apprenticeship
3 -- 5 years of electro-mechanical assembly; should have prior wire installation experience
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, documents and blueprints.
Ability to read measuring instruments such as measuring tapes, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators and gauges
Computer Literacy with understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM
