Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant medicine or Health Sciences, or graduate of an approved Physician Assistant Training Program.

Current License as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of practice.

Acute Care Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-AC).

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) / Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification from the American Heart Association / PALS.

Eligible for Prescriptive Authority in the state of practice as outlined by the State Board of Nursing.

License as a Physician Assistant in the state of practice, NCCPA Certified, Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) / Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification from the American Heart Association / PALS.

Eligible for Prescriptive Authority in the state of practice as outlined by the State Board of Medical Examiners.

Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of required job information.

Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard.

Reliable transportation as must be able to travel throughout and between facilities.

Must be able to work a flexible work schedule (e.g. 24/7, weekend, holiday, on call availability).

Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.

Must be able to stoop, bend, reach and grab with arms and hands, manual dexterity.

Flexible contract hours: 36/48 rotating or 48 hours per week.

Holiday blackout dates: 10/31, 11/26, 12/24, 12/25, 12/31, and 1/1.

Holiday-week RTO is likely to be denied.

RTO <5 days or add time to end of contract.

Mardi Gras scheduling must be discussed with the manager.

4 days maximum time off.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027.

Registered Nurse

12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is required.

Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license (required for submission).

Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and telemetry are required.
