High school diploma or GED
Experience operating VTLs, CNC lathes, or other precision machining equipment.
Proficiency using precision measuring tools.
Able to understand complex machining theory and strategy.
Ability to manage and prioritize a high number of set-ups and short run jobs
Able to understand and interrogate complex mechanical drawings and tolerances
Ability to use common machine shop hand and measurement tools.
Ability to set-up and run CNC Machines in a fast-paced environment.
Must own tools appropriate to the job being performed.
Safety glasses required when in manufacturing environment.
Hours outside of a normal working day may be required to meet project deadlines or ability to work overtime to support production demand.
Sitting for extended periods of time.
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other devices.
Ability to work onsite, in a non-remote setting.
Ability to safely perform the physical demands of a manufacturing environment, including prolonged walking, occasional lifting (up to 50 pounds), and the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
