Must be able to operate and set-up one or more of the following: CNC Grinders, CNC Milling Machines, CNC Lathe or any other CNC metal-working machine where CNC control knowledge may be directly applied to CNY machine tools operation.
Must be able to apply knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties and layout machining procedures.
Must be able to read and understand blueprints, sketches and description of parts to be worked on or replaced.
Must be able to measure, mark and scribe dimensions and reference points to lay out stock for machining.
Must be able to verify dimensions and alignment with measuring instruments such as micrometers, height gauges and gauge blocks.
Must have five years machine shop experience.
