This is a full time rotating shifts position, Tuesday - Thursday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Friday and Saturday 4:00 pm to 12:00 am.

New York City Fire Department Certificate of Fitness for Supervision of Fuel Oil Transfers in building P-98 within the probation period.

New York City Fire Department Certificate of Fitness to Operate and Maintain Air Compressors A-35

Minimum of three years' experience in high pressure Boiler Room operation and maintaining equipment, or with high pressure steam equipment at NYP OR equivalent education consisting of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

All employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

Must have a current valid driver's license.

Must have a High school diploma, or equivalent education.

1 years verifiable Line Mechanic or Mechanic Helper / Associate experience.

2 ASE Certifications (Truck or Automotive series).

MACS AC Certification or equivalent ASE Certification.

Basic set of personal tools.

Ability to perform the essential job functions.

Regular and predictable attendance.

Basic automotive knowledge and skills necessary to perform maintenance and repairs on company vehicles.

Must have a full set of personal tools.

Preferably Brake and Steering / Suspension.
