Full time position working 11:00 am - 7:00 pm

High School Diploma or equivalency required

Completed an accredited Surgical Technician Program

Certification as a Surgical Technologist by the Association of Surgical Technologist or Surgical Technician by the National Board of Surgical Technician and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)

Minimum of one year experience as a Certified Surgical Technician

Knowledge of surgical supplies, instruments, machines and equipment used in and related to the Operating Room

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required

All employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

Previous experience working as a Certified Surgical Technician in EP preferred

$76.05 – $92.05 per hour

Full-time position with 12.5-hour day shifts

Physician Assistant

Graduate of an Accredited Physician Assistant Program

Active New York State Physician Assistant License

NCCPA Certification

DEA Registration

BLS

ACLS certifications

NYS Infection Control Certification

Recent operating room experience required

Master's preferred

Experience as a Cardiothoracic Surgery First Assist preferred

Vessel harvesting experience strongly preferred
