3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience

1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience

1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

Experience programming with at least one software programming language

3+ years of relevant, broad engineering experience.

Computer Science core: object-oriented design, data structures, and performance analysis with at least 2 programming languages.

Hands-on technical experience working in the Generative AI space

Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

Experience in one or more of the following areas: ML compilers, production coding agents, GenAI model architecture, model training, neural network optimization, or alternatively applied math.

Minimum 5 years of experience estimating in the fire alarm and/or security/low voltage field.

Education BA Business/ BS Engineering/MS Engineering or applicable amount of experience in the appropriate field may be substituted for the educational background

Strong understanding of relevant codes, including NFPA and NEC.

Ability to read and interpret detailed construction drawings and scope documentation.

Experience working with major manufacturers (e.g., Silent Knight, Firelite, Bosch, Hanwha, Avigilon, Axis, Genetec, Lenel, and others).
