HS diploma, and a 2-year degree or an equivalent level of controls/instrumentation, electrical trade experience
2-5+ years? (not specified exactly) but Experience Level: 5-10 Years
Strong electrical and/or instrumentation training/experience
Proficient in Math functions
Effective analytical troubleshooting skills
Able to read electrical, instrument and machine drawings
Able to read/modify PLC programs to troubleshoot equipment problems a plus
Understanding of electrical codes for hazardous environments a plus
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
Place safety and environment as top priority in all work
Knowledge of Lock Out / Tag Out
Effective communication skills - daily communications with leaders, maintenance planner, technical staff, engineering and operations as needed
Team player - willing to be flexible, often work in other areas and with other trades as needed
Significant walking or other means of mobility
Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours)
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds
Ability to work off of ladders or scaffolding, in some awkward positions
Indoor and outdoor work assignments
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud
Wear protective clothing and/or Personal Protective Equipment required by the work environment or governmental regulations
Data entry and report writing including ISO documentation
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and maintenance software tools
