Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 6months to 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Measuring and marking dimensions and reference points on material or workpiece as guides for subsequent machining
Sets up and operates conventional, special purpose, and/or numerical control (CNC) machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts
Reads and interprets written information
Strong verbal communication skills needed
Must be attentive to detail
Must be a team player and dependable - Must be consistently at work and on time
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
