Must be able to access all Navy installations and other shipyards by obtaining DBIDS and NAVSEA badges.
Typically has a BA/BS in a related field, or AA/AS plus two (2) years' directly related experience, or six (6) years' directly related experience.
Must be familiar with working in a naval ship yard environment and be able to work aboard marine vessels, climb ladders, work in tanks and confined spaces, and wear personal protective equipment.
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Must possess expert ability to effectively communicate with other disciplines or groups and resolve planning conflicts.
Must possess the ability to read drawings, blueprints, standard items, and specifications of work items.
Must have a working knowledge of NMD Planning and Execution Modules.
Regular reliable attendance onsite is an essential function of this position.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must qualify for a DBIDS badge.
Must be able to access all work locations, including government and private ship yards and/or vessels.
Must have reliable record of attendance and punctuality and be available for overtime as required.
Must be able to physically transit all areas of the facility.
Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects or control, and to talk and hear.
Must have good eye/hand coordination.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
