French language proficiency is required for this role, as the position involves daily communication with French speaking suppliers and partners.
Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
A minimum of five years of fine-wine sales experience at the importer or supplier level is required.
Strong expertise in wine importation and distribution.
Solid understanding of US regulatory frameworks (TTB, licensing, three-tier system).
Proven experience in financial management and P&L ownership.
Ability to structure operational processes.
Demonstrated capability to develop markets and build commercial strategies.
Ability to lead a subsidiary with autonomy and accountability.
Experience managing multicultural teams.
