Weekend shift, which consists of twelve (12) hours on Saturday and Sunday and eight (8) hours on Monday (the eight hour shift could be Friday instead of Monday);

Scheduled off days are Tuesday through Friday or Monday through Thursday depending upon the shift.

CNC (VMC/VBM/Lathe Operator) Machinist

A high school diploma or GED is required

A minimum of 3 years' experience in machining large components on either CNC VMCs or CNC VBMs.

The selected candidate must be a U.S. citizen

Must be open to working any shift.

Ability to perform set-ups

Understanding of drawings and specifications

Use of precision measuring equipment

Knowledgeable of all machine functions as well as G & M coded commands

1st shift, Monday - Friday 5:30 am-3:00 pm with overtime as needed

Ability to safely operate CNC machine controls and operate fluently in a Windows environment

Ability to use measuring instruments – Protractor, Tape Measure, Digital Calipers, Micrometer

Must be able to read and understand established procedures and detailed work instructions, including CAD drawings

Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. occasionally and bend, squat, walk or stand for long periods of time

High school diploma, GED or equivalent school with relevant work experience

Working knowledge of metal working

Ability to interact and understand electronic time keeping

Must be able to wear proper PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) including protective outer garments – gloves, boots, earplugs, glasses etc.

Ability to operate forklift and overhead hoist in a safe and orderly manner

Must be flexible with work schedule and overtime hours

Minimum 1-3 years of applicable work experience

The ability to pass drug and criminal background screenings

1+ years of fabrication experience, Press Brake, and CNC

Score of 8+ on the Pressbrake test and >85% on the General test

This position is eligible for a $3,500 sign-on bonus.

Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

At least 5 years experience as a machinist as a primary job

Experience operating hand drills, back spot facer, parts cleaner, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, bore gages, air gages, precision pins, height gages, and hand tools.

High School diploma or GED preferred.

A Shift Premium will be applied for this position.

Night Shift

Standard shop hours are (4) ten-hour days - Mon-Thurs. 3:30PM - 2:00am, with occasional overtime on Fridays as needed.

High School graduate or equivalent required

A minimum of five (5) years Quality Control/Assurance Inspection experience is required

Basic understanding of precision machining operations (milling and turning machines)

Drawing interpretation including GD&T.

Knowledge of non-destructive and destructive testing and measuring techniques.

Knowledgeable in the applications and requirements of ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF14949

Helpful if qualified candidate would be able to operate manual CMM and Optical Comparator.
