Graduate of an institution accredited by an agency that ARRT recognizes in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
Active enrollment in an MRI ARRT registry eligible or ARMRIT program required.
MRI registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
BLS required.
Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development.
Demonstrates the skills and competency appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served.
Requires moderate to heavy physical efforts in lifting and moving patients, equipment and supplies.
Occasional standing, walking, and sitting during normal operation.
Frequently may be required to stretch, bend twist, squat or kneel in the daily operation of the MRI department.
Required to use radiation safety guidelines to prevent exposure to ionizing radiation.
