A current Rhode Island journeyman electrician's license is required and must be maintained as a condition of employment.
Must possess a journeyman electrician's license issued by the Rhode Island State Board of Examiners of Electricians and must maintain such licensure as a condition of employment.
Completion of ten school grades
Employment as a journeyman electrician
Any combination of education and experience that shall be substantially equivalent to the above education and experience.
The ability to read and work from electrical wiring diagrams and blueprints
The ability to handle high voltage wires
At time of appointment, applicant must be physically qualified to perform assigned duties as evidenced by a physician's certificate.
Candidates must have authorization to work in the US without the need for employer sponsorship.
