State Specific Department of Education Required Certification

Bachelor's degree

DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance, as applicable by state

Master's in Special Education strongly preferred

2–5 years working with students with learning and/or social-emotional needs

Experience implementing curriculum and behavior interventions

Proficiency with IEP documentation systems (e.g., IEPpro)
