Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R), American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).

BLS certified.

Resident must become certified by the ARRT within 3 months of completing training program.

Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program

Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist

Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations

The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language

Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills

Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend

Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment

Must possess visual acuity

Current Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification (ARDMS)

Current ARRT certification in sonography
