High school diploma/GED
2-5 years of ready-mix experience
Good attendance and punctuality are a must
Ability to work varying work shifts with varying start and stop times; night work will be required
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Current valid driver's license
Insurable under CalPortland vehicle insurance
Safe driving record (must provide a 39-month Motor Vehicle Report/DMV H-6 printout)
Physical Requirements: climbing, stooping, bending, squatting, frequent lifting of extension chutes (up to 50 pounds), stretching, and driving/sitting
Ability to work in various weather conditions (may be exposed to extremes of hot and/or cold)
Subject to the CalPortland Drug and Alcohol Program
Must submit to a post-offer pre-employment physical examination

Background check
Some positions require Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) registration/clearance as well as ongoing alcohol and drug testing.
