Associate degree, vocational school degree, or Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience in lieu of education (6 additional years of experience)
Demonstrated knowledge of precision machining tools and techniques, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and fabrication procedures
Ability to learn, navigate, and operate computer software, CAD/CAM applications, metrology instrumentation, and microscopes
Attention to detail with the capability to identify non-conforming specifications, correct erroneous process steps, and suggest process enhancements
Experience working across technical teams to drive operational goals and manage complex technical documentation
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE-Q security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required
Must be able to operate, maneuver, and control heavy machinery and industrial equipment safely and effectively
Frequently positions self, bends, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls to perform equipment inspections, routine maintenance, and operational setups
Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry tools, equipment, and heavy components weighing up to 50 lbs independently
Requires standing and walking for extended periods across industrial, shop floor, or outdoor project environments
Must possess fine motor skills, manual dexterity, and hand-eye-foot coordination to operate complex machine controls, joysticks, and levers
Must maintain close visual acuity, depth perception, and auditory awareness to monitor machine operations and hear equipment safety alarms in high-noise environments
Ability to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for extended periods, including steel-toe boots, hard hats, safety glasses, high-visibility vests, and ear protection
