Flexible scheduling

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET.

A minimum of 20 hours per week

Certification runs for 10 days, Monday-Friday, from 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM ET

You'll need a quiet, dedicated workspace

Access to high-speed, hardwired internet (no Wi-Fi or Satellite, please)

A PC with Windows 11 (Macs and Chromebooks are not supported at this time)

At least 8GB of RAM, with at least 4GB available for use

A processor capable of reliably running all required software and programs simultaneously

Up-to-date antivirus software

Dual monitors, each capable of displaying at least 1024 x 768 pixels

A USB noise-cancelling headset

A webcam for your Certification experience

A smart phone to facilitate dual-factor authentication

Primarily between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week

Operating hours are subject to change and will likely scale up during periods of peak customer demand, such as tax season

Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.

Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.

Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location

Must be willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training, proficiency-based up-skilling, cross-training of other products or offerings, and professional development. Training requirements are subject to change based on business needs and the company reserves the right to introduce additional requirements at any time

Must reside within the United States.

Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.

Proficient with technology, including tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.

EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.

Familiarity with Circular 230

Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus

Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

The total estimated annual compensation, including base pay and incentives, is $40,000 - $60,000.

High school diploma or equivalent

1-3 years' retail experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) with high-end luxury and/or custom products

Strong sales skills in a consultative environment

Skilled at current best practice retail methods, procedures, and standards

Flexibility in work schedule reflecting the needs and patterns of store hours.

Fluency with current retail software / computer systems

Must be able to stand for lengthy periods of time and occasionally lifting items with or without assistance.
