To be 18 years of age or older
Authorization to work in the United States for this company
High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
Verizon OSP Engineering experience
At least two (2) years of Telecom OSP Engineering experience
Proficient with Word and Excel
Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional)
An acceptable driving record
At least two years related experience and/or training
Telecommunications industry standards
Regulations for OSP facilities
Aerial or underground construction methods and engineering requirements
Infrastructure plans and surveys to avoid conflicts with underground obstacles to ensure installation in easements and public right of ways
Government permit requirements
Fiber optic counts, assignments, and splicing schematics in high-density environments
VATS design
AutoCAD/Microstation or Geographic Information Systems
Routinely: Work alone in remote locations, operate vehicle, walk, use keyboard and mouse
Occasionally: climb stairs and stand
