Proficient in the use of Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other automated distribution systems used at site.

Proficient with Microsoft Suite products including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook software.

Ability to acquire a license to use Material Handling Equipment (MHE).

A US Government background check

May require a US Government SECRET Clearance.

Have a current US Government SECRET Personnel Security Clearance or be able to successfully complete a U.S. government administered investigation.

The employee is required to be able to occasionally stand; walk; sit; use hands and/or fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; operate office equipment, reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; talk or hear; taste or smell.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions and procedure manuals.

Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Familiarity with automotive parts is preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) education.

Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in comparable electromechanical assembly.

Demonstrated proficiency in soldering, including, but not limited to through-hole and surface mount technology.

Experienced in using hand tools and some power tools (power drills, sanders, etc.,)

Understanding of mechanical hardware (nuts, bolts, screws, etc.) assembly.

Advanced knowledge of blueprints, Bill of Materials and mechanical drawings,

Ability to read, write, and speak the English language at a level that allows for the comprehension of detailed instructions and the legible completion of paperwork.

Must have basic computer skills

Requires ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.

Experience working with cable assemblies, connectors, or electromechanical components is strongly preferred.

Prior work cell lead and experience training others preferred.

IPC/J Standard soldering training and certification is highly preferred.

Understanding of 5S and Lean Manufacturing practices is a plus.
