Ability to do the work of a Electronic Industrial Controls Mechanic without more than normal supervision (SOE): I perform the common tasks of the job to be filled but under close supervision, such as performing common repairs and replacement on electronic industrial controls equipment found in materials handling equipment.
Employees frequently lift, carry , or otherwise handle items weighing up to70 pounds.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, crouching, reaching and stooping is required.
Occasionally, climbing and work in highplaces may be required.
Employee is required to wear safety clothing and equipment appropriate for the job and work areawhere assigned, as directed by the supervisor.
If employee works near or around noise hazardousareas, machinery, or equipment, the employee will be required to wear approved hearing protective devices and anaudiometric test will be conducted as necessary.
Applicants tentatively selected for employment in testing designated positions will undergo a urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.
A negative drug test result must be received by HR within 30 calendar days after the EOD (i.e., start date).
