Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
Minimum of 4 to 7 years of experience assembling electro-mechanical subassemblies, major assemblies, and cabinetry for hardware and systems, preferably in an environment supporting military requirements and specifications.
Strong background in the processes and procedures involved in assembly, rework, and repair of complex assemblies and military hardware.
Hand soldering skills and knowledge of ANSI-J-STD-001, as required by the position.
Excellent ability to read and interpret assembly blueprints, engineering drawings, parts lists, wiring lists, shop orders, and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
Working knowledge of complex build sequences, manufacturing processes, and technical documentation.
Ability to interface effectively with cross-functional teams and support groups.
Working knowledge of computers and the ability to record and update assembly status accurately.
Familiarity with military standards is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, workmanship, documentation accuracy, and adherence to quality requirements.
