Thorough understanding of testing and troubleshooting of LRUs and circuit cards down to the component level including interpretation of a variety of schematics and wiring diagrams under the guidance of a test engineer and or Sr. Test technician as required.

High School Diploma and 6-10 Years Experience

Proficient understanding of testing and troubleshooting of LRUs and circuit cards down to the component level including interpretation of a variety of schematics and wiring diagrams.

Perform rework on circuit card assemblies using basic soldering skills to remove and replace through hole and SMT components.

Minimal guidance from test engineer.

Work is performed in a production environment and regularly requires sustained performance of physically demanding work including lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of moderately heavy objects and materials (20 to 50 pounds) and dexterity of arms, hands and fingers to operate hand and/or power tools such as drills, hammers for performing facility maintenance and inspection. Job Essential functions require maintaining physical condition necessary for standing, walking, constant bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, kneeling and occasional use of safety/protective equipment.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 to $24.00 per hour.

3-5 years of experience in electromechanical assembly, soldering under a microscope

Must be able to read and understand engineering assembly drawings.

Advanced schematic reading and ability to troubleshoot assemblies.

Good dexterity of hands and eyes.

Certified for J-STD C or IPC-610.

Must be a local candidate.

Must have advanced ability to read drawings, specifications, acceptance test procedures.

Knowledge of connectors, electro-mechanical products and related manufacturing processes.

Visual and mechanical inspection methods.

Hands-on inspection experience using measurement devices such as microscope, calipers, micrometers and various basic measurement equipment.

Familiar with Aerospace industry documentation, such as AS9102 inspection forms and standard military specifications

Minimum of two years of experience in inspection of cable assemblies, and mechanical assemblies.

Must be proficient in using inspection equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, various gauges.

Frequent: Handle, manual dexterity, lift 5-49 lbs., reach, stand, stoop, and walk. Use personal protective equipment.

Close vision, color, and depth perception.

To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Workmanship standards per IPC/WHMA-A-620 and J-STD-001 experience desired.

Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook desired.

Familiarity with Aerospace plating and processing standards, such as standards for anodizing, chem.-film, passivation, chrome plating, silver plating, etc.

Requires High School degree or GED.

Requires 5+ years related Quality Assurance inspection experience. Experience must include interface with customer source representatives, government sources, internal departments and senior management.

US Citizenship or permanent residency.

Must be able to read and analyze engineering drawings and blueprints to determine requirements.

Must be proficient in the use of basic inspection tools, calipers, scales, height gauges, optical aids, micrometers and GD&T.;

Must have experience with production processes such as assembly, forming, tooling, welding (fusion & resistance), heat treat, cleaning

Must have experience with production machinery and equipment such as press forming, tube bending and other fabrication.

Must have knowledge of metallic materials such as stainless, nickel, titanium, aluminum.

Must have experience with composites materials and production processes such as elastomers, resins, and composite reinforcement material.

Must be familiar with AS9102 standards and software, and military specifications.

Experience must demonstrate ability to direct work activities of QC Inspectors I.

Working knowledge of NetInspect, Inspection Expert, AS9100, AS9101, Boeing, Northrop, Lockheed Martin, UTAS, Honeywell, and DCMA specifications.

Lift, push, and pull up to 35 lbs.

Operate computers and equipment frequently.

Related AA or trade school degree preferred.

ASQ Certified Quality Inspector preferred

Experience working in AS9100 production environment preferred

Experience using Net-Inspect standards and software preferred.

ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification is expected to be achieved within 12 months from the first day of employment.
