A High School Diploma or equivalent, or certificate of completion from an accredited technical school is required.
Typically requires at least 10 plus years of experience in HVAC.
Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with hand held computer (i.e. Smartphone, iPad).
Strong command of HVAC, lighting, and energy management controls.
Proficiency in industry protocols including Modbus, BACnet, and Niagara, with the ability to integrate and interface systems using appropriate methods.
Proficiency in BAS integration, diagnosing and resolving complex control system issues across diverse environments.
Proficiency in editing control logic, optimizing sequences of operations and generating detailed system reports to support diagnostics and performance analysis.
Proficiency in providing field-level support to Trane System engineers, offering expert guidance on application challenges, system performance issues, and control sequence design.
Working knowledge of control system components, including sensors, actuators, and VFDs.
Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
