Experience with supplier auditing to AS9100, company and customer flowdown requirements applied to both manufacturing and product development
Demonstrated proficiency within the functional domain in Quality strategies, standards, sciences and controls
Experience in use and understanding of Quality tools (FMEA, APQP/PPAP, 8D RCCA, SPC, Lean, Six Sigma and relevant industry standards
Knowledge of First Article Inspection to AS9102 industry standards and suppliers, NetInspect and use of control plans and inspection processes that are capable of meeting product requirements
Working knowledge of AS9100 / ISO9001based Quality Management System requirements
Knowledgeable in the interpretation and application of the following standards: J-STD-001, IPC- A-600, IPC-A-610 Rev D Class 3, IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-7711/7721.
Experience with QA oversight of the DO-254 and DO178-B standards.
Practical 8D or other structured problem-solving methodology expertise.
Experience interfacing directly with major customers on Quality issues.
Product Reliability, Maintainability, Durability methodology.
ESD Control Requirements.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principals, including experience with 5S audits.
Understanding of the required Engineering Documents for PCBA manufacturing.
Understanding of configuration management (CM), BOM, data and software structures.
Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace/Electrical/Mechanical/Software Engineering or technical equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of prior related experience
Graduate degree with a minimum of 3 years of prior related experience
In lieu of a degree, candidates may be considered with a minimum of 8 years of prior related supplier quality experience within the aerospace and defense or other regulated industry, commensurate with the position responsibilities and skills
Exposure to export-controlled information and subject to additional security screening
